How to Upload a Replay

When you're playing your favorite first-person shooter or real-time strategy game, saving match replays can help you sharpen your skills or show off to your friends. Most popular titles have a built-in replay save utility that'll store replay video files in a specific folder on your computer. If your game of choice doesn't carry a replay-saving utility, or it saves with a file type that's not compatible with YouTube, then download FRAPS from the resource section for easy file conversion and an in-game camera.

Instructions

    • 1

      Log onto your YouTube account.

    • 2

Click the "Upload" button on your YouTube account page. This will open up a drop-down menu, from which you'll select "Video File."

    • 3

Select "Upload Video" and find your saved replay -- either in your game's appropriate file or wherever you saved the file using FRAPS -- and wait for the blue upload bar to fill.

    • 4

Wait for the YouTube staff to accept your video once it's uploaded. You'll know it's accepted when the label next to your uploaded video says "Live" instead of "Processing."
