How to Become a Bounty Hunter in Garry's Mod - Roleplay

"Garry's Mod," provides a sandbox for many different game modes, including "RP" games. "RP" is short for roleplay, and describes a gameplay type focused on interactions between players who each have jobs within the game world. Most players start as "Civilians," but it's possible for players to become "Criminals" and "Bounty Hunters" as well. Becoming a "Bounty Hunter" enables you to carry a weapon and attack players who have a bounty set on their heads.

  Start "Garry's Mod" and click on "Find Server." A list of servers will pop up and begin to scroll.

  Type "RP" in the "Tags" input box to show only servers tagged as RP servers. Look for one that is running the "DarkRP" game mode, that isn't full and that has some players currently on it.

  Connect to the server --- and be prepared to wait. RP game modes typically come with lots of extras that your client will have to download.

  Press "Y" to open the chat box and type "/job Bounty Hunter" in chat to change your job. After doing this, you can go around to other players and begin roleplaying your character --- look for work, and for tools to carry out your job.
