Batman: Arkham Asylum Cheats for the Xbox 360

"Batman: Arkham Asylum" for the Xbox 360 is a challenging game because players must utilize a couple of crime-solving tools and combat moves to win the game. You must have a working knowledge of Batman's capabilities prior to playing if you want to be successful at the game. While there are no traditional cheat codes for this game, a couple of hints exist that will make the game less frustrating for the players.
  1. Detective Mode

    • Detective Mode for the "Batman: Arkham Asylum" is a handy tool for players to use during game play. Detective Mode includes X-ray capabilities that will let players see all the opponents in a given area so they can plan their strategy accordingly. Enemies who are armed with weapons will show up in detective mode in red, while those who are unarmed will show up in blue. Detective Mode will also let you know the type of weapon, heart rate and overall condition. While in this Mode, you will also notice items that glow orange. These objects are important items that may come in handy later on in the game.

    Environmental Analysis

    • Environmental Analysis is an ability you gain during game play about halfway through the game. Use "LB" on your controller to activate this ability. Environmental Analysis is an important ability when you're trying to locate and solve the various riddles and challenges left behind by The Riddler. Turn on this ability every time you enter a new building or area to search everywhere to find hidden clues that may be important later.

    Poison Ivy Strategy

    • At one point during the game you must defeat Poison Ivy's plants. In order to do so you must get close enough to ripe out its heart. To do this, find the highest point above the plant, climb up to the top of the structure and then drop down to a spot directly beside the plant and immediately begin attacking.

    Night Glider Technique

    • If you want the Night Glider trophy, which allows you to glide anywhere, you must find a wide open area. An example of such an area is Arkham East or West. Climb to the highest point in the area and then glide to the opposite side by pressing the "A" button on the controller. The best place to try this out is in Arkham East at the top of the clock tower at Arkham Mansion. Aim to glide northwest of the tower.
