Remove the "Magic Gate Memory Stick Pro Duo" cover located on the back left of the PSP. Place the memory stick containing at least 3 gigabytes of free space into the memory stick slot. Place the cover back onto the PSP.
Connect the PSP to the computer via the USB cable and then power on the PSP. The "Cross Media Bar" will appear. Using the arrow keys, scroll over to the "Settings" tab. A list of options will appear directly below the icon. Scroll down to "USB Connection" and press the "X" button. The PSP is now connected to the computer.
Visit the official "MapleStory" download page. Click the purple "Download" button located in the "Download Game Client" tab. The "MapleStory Downloader" application will begin to download. Upon completion the "Downloader" will appear.
Fully read through the "Terms of Service" then click "I Agree." You will be redirected to another page. Click "Browse" to open "Windows Explorer." Navigate to the destination you wish to save the "MapleStory" game client to and then click "OK" to close "Windows Explorer." Click "Next." The game will be downloaded to the specified location.
Open the folder that contains the "MapleStory" game client. Minimize the folder. Click "Start" located in the bottom left corner of the screen to open the "Start Menu." Click "Computer." The "Windows Explorer" will appear and contain various items. Under the "Devices With Removable Storage" tab, the PSP should appear. Double-click to open it. Maximize the folder containing the "MapleStory" game client.
Click and drag the "MapleStory" game client to the PSP window. The game client will be copied to the PSP. Upon completion, the "MapleStory" game client will be stored on the PSP.
