How to Tame a Moth for Horde Hunter in WOW

In "World of Warcraft" taming a combat pet is a right of passage for any player who chooses the path of the hunter. This pet will be a constant companion for the hunter, helping him to battle monsters and complete adventures. One of the beasts that are tameable by hunters is the mighty moth. High level moths can only be found in player vs. player or Alliance controlled zones, which can make it difficult for a horde hunter to complete the task. Low level moths can be found in a low level Alliance controlled area, which can help reduce the danger to the horde hunter doing the taming.

     Create a horde hunter and advance him to the tenth level.

     Complete the quest "Taming the beast," which will be given out by the hunter trainer for the horde race you choose. Completing this quest line will award you with the "Tame Beast" spell.

     Travel to the Alliance controlled "Bloodmyst Isle" located off the northeastern corner of Kalimdor.

     Locate a Blue Flutterer moth, lay a frost trap, then attack the moth once to draw it towards you.

     Cast the "Tame Beast" spell on the moth as soon as it is in range. Once the spell finishes channelling, you will have tamed the moth as your pet.
