Travel to one of the main towns, such as Henesys, Leafre or Magatia and speak to Cake Boss Daniel or Pie Lord Tiara. Tiara is the woman with brown hair who is holding a mixing bowl, while Daniel is the man with blond hair and wearing a chef outfit. It doesn't matter which you choose because you will be randomly assigned a side for the event. Daniel and Tiara will explain all about the event and let you know about the insignias you can earn.
Leave the town to begin the event. You need to kill all the monsters that you see. After defeating them, they will each drop either a cake or pie piece, depending on which side you are on. Press the "Z" key to pick up the pieces. Return each piece to your side leader as you collect them. A progress bar at the top of the screen will show how many more pieces are needed to win this event. There are two bars, one for each team. Once one of the bars reaches 100 percent, the battle portion of the event will start.
Double-click on the red envelope when it appears above your character's head when the battle begins. The envelope will take you to the nearest town for the battle. Whichever side reached 100 percent first in the first half attacks first in the battle.
Break down the barricade at the bottom of the screen if you are a part of the attacking team. You can also climb the ladder in the center of the stage and attack the Monster Summoning Sack on the left-side of the screen to summon the monsters to attack the barricade. If you are on the defending team, you must attack the monsters to protect the barricade.
Click on your team's leader once the battle is over. You will be given an insignia for participating in the battle as long as you have at least two slots available in your inventory. If your team wins the battle, you will get more insignias; however, if your team lost you still get one for participating.
