Getting a Tank Using The Editor
Launch ArmA 2. From the main menu, click "Singleplayer," then click "Editor."
In the window that appears, select a map and click "Continue." "Utes" is a small island, while "Chernarus" is the full game map. The Editor screen will appear.
Click and drag to move around the map. Double-click anywhere to bring up the "Insert Unit" window.
In the "Insert Unit" window, select either "BLUFOR" or "OPFOR" next to "Side" and then select "Armor" next to "Class."
Click on the drop-down box next to "Unit" and select "M1A1" for a U.S. tank, or "T-72" or "T-90" for Russian tanks. Click "OK."
Click the "Preview" button to launch straight into the game in control of the tank you just placed.
Getting a Tank In a Scenario
Launch ArmA 2. From the main menu, click "Singleplayer," then click "Scenarios."
Select the "Bear Rising" scenario and click "Play."
Select "AI as Commander" to take control of two Russian T-90 tanks.
