How to Download a New Animal to Petz 5

Petz is a long running series of games which allows the player to breed, look after and play with a number of animals, from dogs and cats to monkeys and dolphins. It is available across a range of platforms, from PC to Wii and Gameboy, but it was originally just available for PCs. Newer versions of Petz have allowed users to download new animals from the Internet to increase the variety of the game.

Instructions

  Go to a Petz website with downloadable animals (see Resources). Search for the kind of animal you want to download.

  Click the link to download the desired animal. Save the file to the desktop. Wait for the download to complete.

  Click "Start" and click "Program Files." Click through "Ubi Soft," "Studio Mythos," "Petz 5" and "Resources." Select the folder for the type of animal you have downloaded. For example, if you have downloaded a cat then you would open the "Catz" folder.

  Drag the downloaded file from the desktop into this folder. Open Petz 5 and go to the adoption center. Your new animal should be there.
