Instructions
Create a group of players of various types. Make sure there are multiple players capable of healing, ranged combat players with high damage rating and a tank group of knights, avengers or paladins with high resistance and life to take the damage.
Create a formation with the tank characters closest the boss. These players will stay near the boss to take the hits that would otherwise kill other players in the group. For bosses without many minions, form a semi-circle of tanks around the boss. For those with minions, form a protective circle around the other players.
Position the ranged players behind the tanks far enough so they can attack the boss without getting hit.
Position the healers furthest from the boss, well inside the protected circle. Assign each healer a group of attack players to heal. Each healer should watch those in his or her assignment and keep them healed and maintain protective enchantments. Avoid using healers for attacks to ensure all players maintain their health levels until the boss is dead.
Use attacks that target the enemy's weak points. For example, a paladin tank will damage undeads better than other classes, while an avenger with damage reflection will help greatly on bosses of equal or higher level than your group that have an enormous amount of hit points.
