How to Change Your Team Name in Goal Line Blitz

In the free online computer game "Goal Line Blitz," players from all over the world purchase and manage their own football franchises and players. The game supports a season and simulates game play modeled after American football. As users become more involved in the game, they have opportunities to own teams and become general managers, coaches or recruiters. When a user purchases a team, he can name it and change the team's name once during the time he owns it.

Instructions

  Buy or earn enough flex points (the currency used in "Goal Line Blitz") to purchase a "Regular," "PeeWee" or "Casual" team. Spend 1,000 flex points to add your name to an ownership waiting list if a team is not immediately available to buy. Understand that when a team becomes available, your 1,000 flex points give you the right to own that team for two seasons.

  Select a name for your team and design a logo and jerseys. Understand that "Goal Line Blitz" allows team owners only one name change per owner, even for misspellings. Abide by the rules when choosing a name -- do not name your team after an existing professional or amateur American football franchise (such as a National Football League or collegiate team) and do not select a name that is identical to an existing team within the game.

  Email a "Goal Line Blitz" moderator, informing him that you want to change the name of your team. On the game's website, click on the "Support" tab at the top of the screen to access the moderator contact information.
