Engineering
Engineering is one of the crafting professions in World of Warcraft. The engineering profession allows the player to use materials produced with another profession to create gadgets, vanity items, helms, goggles, ranged weapons and scopes. Most items crafted by engineers are of limited use in combat. When a player has reached an engineering level of 200, he can choose to specialize in goblin engineering or gnome engineering. Goblin engineering focuses on explosives, while gnome engineering focuses on gadgets.
Engineering Goggles
Engineering goggles can be created by an engineer in Word of Warcraft. They are a type of armor that protects the character's head. Depending on the type of goggles and how rare they are, they offer varying degrees of protection, as well as other attribute bonuses. A player must be a minimum level to use certain engineering goggles. Generally, the more protection and higher bonuses they offer, the higher level a character must be in order to equip them. As of July, 2011, the two highest level engineering goggles are Reinforced Bio-Optic Killshades and Specialized Bio-Optic Killshades.
Reinforced Bio-Optic Killshades
Reinforced Bio-Optic Killshades offer an armor rating of 2,784. They also provide a strength bonus of 301 and a stamina bonus of 512. They have one meta socket and two cogwheel sockets, to which you can affix items to further enhance the bonuses of the goggles.
