How Do I Fish a Shark on The Sims 2: Castaway?

Go to the North Island Beach on Volcano Island near Pirates Cove. You must have access to this island; gain this by going to East Beach and harvesting all you can on the right side. Inspect the pillars and stones; this gets you access to the Volcano and all of its lands, which will allow you perform other tasks and accomplish more goals on other islands.

Build a canoe and make your way over to perform a cliff dive from the Ancient Theatre to access the Tidal Pools located in Volcano Island. Click on your sim and click "Perform a Dive" action. You will land in the Tidal Pools. Once you dive, you will be told, "You have found a piece of the map, but a shark ate half of it." Fish the shark to gain the missing map piece.

Use a bamboo fishing rod to fish in deep waters. When the red bobber on the pole starts to sink, reel in until you see a tiger shark. When you catch the shark, you will receive rewards such as a shark tooth, shark leather, shark and boar clothes as well as the missing map piece.
