How to Scroll in Starcraft 2

In Blizzard Entertainment's space-themed real-time strategy (RTS) game, "Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty," players construct bases, manage resources and battle enemy forces on a variety of unique maps and terrains. Because players must assault enemy strongholds, coordinate troop movements and defend their own bases simultaneously, efficient map scrolling is an important aspect of successful gameplay. Conveniently, "Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty" offers players multiple methods for scrolling, including keyboard, mouse and mini-map scrolling.

Instructions

    • 1

Log into Starcraft 2 with your Battle.net user name and password and enter a match.

    • 2

Press and hold down the arrow key on your keyboard in the direction you want to scroll. Release the key when you reach the desired point on the map. Alternatively, move your mouse cursor to the edge of the screen in the direction of the area you want to view to scroll across large distances more rapidly.

    • 3

Click the area you want to view on your mini-map in the bottom-left corner of your game window to scroll instantly to the selected map point. Use mini-map scrolling to quickly alternate between views, for example, when managing multiple bases or monitoring various troop movements simultaneously.
