How to Create Wall Art for Sims 2

"The Sims 2" offers a bounty of artwork and other decor items you can use to decorate your Sim's home. Some of these items, such as the easel, allow the Sims characters to create their own artwork. This artwork not only increases your Sim's creative skill bar, but it also allows him to either make money or use the pictures for decorating his own home.

Instructions

  Click on the "Buy" icon in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen.

  Select the "Hobbies" icon to access the art supplies.

  Purchase an easel and place it within your Sim's home.

  Click on the "Live" icon in the toolbar to return to your Sim's life.

  Click on the easel and select "Paint a picture." Your Sim will walk over to the easel and begin to paint a picture.

  Click on the picture once your Sim is done painting it. This may take several painting sessions, due to both time constraints and other factors.

  Select "Hang picture" from the choices to hang your picture on the wall.

  Drag the picture to the location in which you would like it to hang.

  Click on the picture to choose a frame if you would like your picture to be framed.
