Finding Epaulets

  Decide which epaulet you want to obtain. In the Resources section of this article, there is a link to a list of monster drops, which are the items that monsters in the game may drop when they're defeated. Pick an epaulet from this list. The one you choose must be in an area that you can reach at your current level. Check your in-game map to determine this.

  Go to the location in the game in which the epaulet can be found, as noted in the monster drop list.

  Defeat monsters in the area and take the items they drop. Some items are more likely to be dropped than others, and so you may have to fight several monsters until one of them drops the epaulet you want.

  Use any Chaos Lamps you may find, because they are items dropped by monsters that will give you a random item when used. Sometimes, using a Chaos Lamp will get you an epaulet.

Buying Epaulets

  As an alternative to fighting monsters, it is possible to buy epaulets, either from Elite Cabal's main website or from other players in the game. To buy from the main website, you will have to use real-world money to obtain the items used in the game, and to buy from other players, you will need in-game money (alz).

  If you want to buy from the main website, you must make a donation to the game's creators; this essentially converts your real-world money to the coins used to purchase items from the website's store. If you want to buy from other players, you must either obtain a sufficient amount of in-game money by fighting monsters and selling items, or obtain an item for which the player is willing to trade. The cost or trade will depend on the player with whom you are interacting.

  If you obtained coins in the previous step, use them to purchase the items from the store. If you obtained in-game money or an item to trade, transfer them to the other player so that he or she will transfer to you the epaulet you desire.
