How to Smelt in World of Warcraft

"World of Warcraft" is an online role-playing game released by Blizzard in 2004. In this computer-exclusive game, you can take on two of numerous professions, including mining. Mining lets you mine for ore throughout the world and then smelt the ore into usable blocks. Players use these blocks for other professions, such as engineering. Smelting ore requires a forge, which you can find in any major city.

Instructions

    • 1

Obtain ore. You can mine any protruding rock you see scattered around the world if your skill level is high enough. Right-click the rock to mine it. If your mining skill is high enough, you will perform the mining action.

    • 2

Travel to any major city of your faction. This means Ironforge, Stormwind, the Exodar or Darnassus for the Alliance and Orgrimmar, Silvermoon City, the Undercity and Thunder Bluff for the Horde.

    • 3

Locate the mining trainer, who is always standing beside a forge. If you cannot find him, ask any guard and he will mark it on your in-game map.

    • 4

Walk up to the forge beside the mining trainer and open your mining window.

    • 5

Click the task labeled "Smelt X Ore," where "X" is the type of ore you want to smelt. Click "Create All" to smelt all of the ore in your inventory.
