How to Give Lechuck the Hanky on Secret of Monkey Island 2

"Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge" eventually ends up with your needing to make a voodoo doll of LeChuck to control him. To do this you'll need to amass several ingredients, and one of these involves LeChuck blowing his nose in a clean handkerchief and handing it back to you. You need to annoy him by stealing a string from his underwear before he'll accept the hankie from you.

Instructions

- 1
  Play through the last level of "Monkey Island 2" until LeChuck shows up and teleports you to a different room. He'll keep chasing you and teleporting you to different rooms, so make your way through to the storage room that has a broken grog machine in the corner.

  Push the coin return on the grog machine and a coin will roll out toward the door. Wait for LeChuck to appear and he'll bend over to pick up the coin. Steal his underwear while he's distracted and he'll send you off to a different room.

  Go back to the previous room with the grog machine. LeChuck will teleport you away every time he sees you, but just keep going until you make it to that room. Push the coin return again to send another coin rolling toward the door.

  Click on the "clean, white hankie" in your inventory and wait for LeChuck to appear. Click on LeChuck while holding the hankie to give it to him. He'll blow his nose on it and give it back to you.
