How to Get the Laser Sniper in Fallout 3

Fallout 3 is an action role-playing game published by Bethesda Softworks in 2008. Versions of the game are available for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Fallout 3 uses an "open world" architecture and allows the player to interact with many different tools and weapons in the game environment. The "Wazer Wifle" is a unique version of the game's common laser rifle that features higher base damage and higher critical damage, making it a favorite of players who prefer sniping at enemies from long range. It can be obtained only by interacting with a specific non-player character (NPC) in the game universe.

  Gain access to the settlement of Little Lamplight. Mayor MacReady initially will not open the settlement's gates for the player. In order to gain entry, your character must either pass a difficult speech skill challenge to gain the mayor's trust or complete the side quest "Rescue from Paradise" by freeing the kidnapped children. Characters with the Perk "Child at Heart" will have an additional dialog option to gain entry to the settlement immediately.

  Follow the cave corridor to the left once inside Little Lamplight. The corridor leads to the Great Chamber. A number of NPCs are wandering around the chamber. Find the NPC named "Biwwy" (Billy). Biwwy is easy to identify: he's wearing a track suit and playing with a laser rifle.

  Initiate dialog with Biwwy. Follow the dialog options that allow Biwwy to express his disappointment at being kicked off the Little Lamplight scavenging team. At the conclusion of his speech, he will state that he no longer needs his "Wazer Wifle" and will sell it to your character for 500 bottle caps. Passing a moderate barter skill check will give you the option to purchase the rifle for 250 caps. If your character has the perk "Child at Heart," Biwwy will give you his Wazer Wifle for free.
