How to Download Hair on XM Sims

The Sims series of computer games are the biggest selling franchise in PC gaming history, having sold well in excess of 100 million copies since it was first launched in 2000. One of the main features of the games throughout their history has been the ability to allow players to modify the games by downloading new clothes, items of furniture and other graphics. Many modding websites provide new hairstyles that you can download for your Sim, and downloading hair from the website XM Sims is an easy task.

     Visit the XM Sims website. Click the banner for either "The Sims," "The Sims 2" or "The Sims 3" depending on the game for which you wish to download hair.

     Hover your cursor over the bar at the top of the page where it reads "Skins." When the drop-down menu appears, click "Hair" then either "Female Hair" or "Male Hair."

     View the gallery of different hairstyles. When you find one you wish to download, click the image of the haircut. The hair will be downloaded to your hard drive in a .zip file.
