How to Download Modded Maps to COD: World at War

When a first-person shooter game such as "Call of Duty: World at War" is released, it is only a matter of time before players get bored of the included maps and decide to take the time to make their own maps and release them to the public for free play. Once you download a map or package of maps, you need to insert them into the proper location for them to load inside your game.

Instructions

      Download your modded map from a trusted and established map site.

      Navigate to "C:\Users\YOUR_PROFILE\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW\mods\" where "YOUR_PROFILE" is your username on the computer.

      Right-click the modded map you downloaded and then click "Copy." Paste it into the "C:\Users\YOUR_PROFILE\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW\mods\" directory.

      Open "Call of Duty: World at War," then click the "Mods" tab to select which newly modded map to play.
