How to Get a Mic to Work in StarCraft II

"StarCraft II" is a single- and multiplayer real-time strategy game on the PC, the sixth released by Blizzard Entertainment. As a multiplayer game, you may sometimes want to talk to your opponent, especially if it is a friend of yours. As with other Blizzard games, you must plug in the microphone and operate the push-to-talk system. This means you have to push a key on your keyboard whenever you want to speak into your microphone.

     Plug your microphone into the pink audio input port on your computer.

     Push down the tilde key (~) to enable your microphone at any time during the game.

     Release the key when you are done speaking to your opponent. This allows you to say things you do not want to broadcast over the server.
