How to Get Past the World of Warcraft Authenticator

In 2004, Blizzard released the first version of "World of Warcraft," a massively multi-player role-playing game for the computer. With a large player base of over 12 million subscribers, many people experience hacked accounts each day. To fight this, you can add an authenticator to your account, adding more security to your login screen. You must use this device to get past the authenticator field while logging in.

Instructions

    • 1

Double-click the "World of Warcraft" icon on your desktop.

    • 2

Click "Play" after any required updates install.

    • 3

Log in to your "World of Warcraft" account. After the servers verify your password, it will ask for an authenticator number.

    • 4

Press the button on your authenticator to display a six-digit number. This button is the only one on the device so it cannot be missed.

    • 5

Type in the number into the field on the screen. This number is only active for 60 seconds, after which you must press the button again to receive a new number.

    • 6

      Click "OK" to login.
