How to Package Clothing From The Sims 2

"The Sims 2" is one of the most moddable games ever created and has had an active fan-driven modding community ever since it was released by Maxis in 2004. Maxis included a "Body Shop" application with every copy of "The Sims 2" that allows users to create their own clothing from existing templates. These clothes can then be used in your own "Sims 2" game, or they can be exported as a package file and used in other installations of "The Sims 2."

     Launch "The Sims 2 Body Shop" and create your piece of clothing as you normally would.

     Click the "Export Selected Textures" option at the bottom of the "Body Shop" window.

     Save your clothing to your hard drive. The "Body Shop" application will automatically save your clothing mesh as a "package" file.
