Instructions for LEGO Star Wars 1 Foreign Language to English

"Lego Star Wars: The Video Game" is the first game in the "Lego Star Wars" video game series. The game detailed the events of Episode 1, Episode 2 and Episode 3, in addition to some bonus content from Episode 4. Despite several language barriers, LEGO released the game internationally due to its simplistic controls and universal design; this was primarily made possible since the game's characters never speak. The game only uses language and text in the menu and level selection, which may be in an unknown language if you installed the game too quickly onto your computer.

Instructions

  Uninstall "Lego Star Wars: The Video Game" from your computer. The game's language preferences can only be set from the installation process, so you will need to remove your current version of the game from your computer. To do this, click "Uninstall Programs" from the "Control Panel" and double-click the program.

  Insert the game's disc into your computer. The game's installer will automatically begin with a drop-down box in the center of the screen.

  Click the drop-down box to view all the languages in which the game is available. Click "English" and click "Next" to continue the installation.

  Agree to the game's "Terms of Use" and select a directory to install the game. When you are finished, click "Install" to install the game onto your computer in English.
