How Do I Revive a Fallen Follower in Fallout 3?

Followers are special characters you can meet and recruit in "Fallout 3." You can equip followers with weapons, armor and other items, and your followers will help you in combat against enemies and hold excess items you cannot carry yourself. Followers are not invulnerable, and a follower who takes too much damage in combat will die. You cannot revive followers through normal means, but you can use the command console in the Windows PC version of "Fallout 3" to revive followers and other dead characters.

Reviving Fallen Followers

  Press the "~" (tilde) key located left of the number row key on your keyboard while playing "Fallout 3." Game play will pause and a text parser will appear at the bottom of your screen. Your mouse cursor will become visible on your screen.

  Click the body of your fallen follower with your mouse. The follower's body will be selected and the follower's name and identification code will appear at the top of the screen.

  Type "resurrect" and press the "Enter" key. Press the "~" key to close the command console, and your follower will be revived.
