The Tower Cells
To get started with "Sanitarium," you must familiarize yourself with your environment. Talk to the people around you. Observe your surroundings and take a good look at the stained glass windows. To hear what the other patients are saying clearly, turn off the blaring alarm with the switch located at the bottom left of the object.
To get out of the tower cells, you need to locate an ancient key. To get the ancient key, you have use a towel to get over to the control room by means of the electrical cable above your head. Watch the video on the VCR and wait for the nearby safe to explode so you can get the key. Unlock the tower by inserting the key into the bottom of the angel statue.
The Maze
To get through the maze, avoid stepping into the pink electricity, because it will kick you right back to the beginning. Pay close attention to the patterns and use impeccable timing when crossing the maze to get to the control panel. Get some lights going on the first and third circles.
When you come across a lever, pull it to gain access to a bridge that will lead you to a statue of what seems to be a football player who just scored a touchdown. Push the arms of the statue down, and cross the wide open path in front of you until you find another lever. Pull the lever down and approach the gate. Open the gate to gain access with a mighty pull on the lever on its right side. Take the mask you find.
The Laboratory
The goal in this chapter is to escape from the laboratory. First, you must power up the strange device. Your clue is behind the wall portrait, so take a look at the picture closely. To make the strange device work, turn to the clock in the study and play around with the settings. If you make it work, you are in good shape.
Now, you just have to figure out the word puzzle. Unscramble the words on all three chalk boards, and then press the control box on the lab's door left side. You're out of the lab when you guess the mystery word; but just to get you motivated, it starts with these two words: "YOUTH HIDES..."
Morgan's Last Game
Your goal in this last puzzle is to get to the statue that is holding the lighted orb three times before your veins fill with green fluid. This is not an easy task though, because you have to circle around the meandering black goo. Pay close attention to the patterns. A helpful maneuver is to press your finger down firmly on the right mouse button and move the mouse only to lead Max in the basic direction for his following move.
