How to Get Murasame in Phantasy Star Online

Earning the Murasame katana in "Phantasy Star Online" is accomplished through diplomacy instead of mettle. Normally, a PSO character finds weapons through clearing dungeons and defeating powerful monsters. The Murasame, however, is a gift-only weapon the administrator of a server bestows on a worthy player -- meaning you cannot find this weapon on your own. Obtaining the Murasame may require diplomacy or money, but this powerful and unique katana will set your character apart from the other players on your server.

Things You'll Need

Access to a "Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst" private server.

Instructions

  Log onto your private server's website or forum and check for a donation section. Many administrators post a list of unique equipment they'll gift if you contribute to the server's upkeep costs.

  Search the donation page's list of prizes and note how many donation tickets the Murasame requires. The requirement will vary from server to server.

  Pay for, or request, the required number of donation tickets for the Murasame. These tickets will be sent to your in-game mailbox once the administrator clears your payment or request.

  Start a PSO:BB game and retrieve your tickets from your mailbox.

  Find the in-game donation ticket vending machine in the lobby and trade in your tickets for the Murasame. Server administrators may place the vending machine in different areas on the ship, so refer to the server's donation page for more information.
