How to Sabotage Red Dwarf Mines in Might & Magic 7

You might get stuck in the Red Dwarf Mines in the Bracada Desert in "Might and Magic 7," a role playing game by 3DO and New World Computing, if you've been told to sabotage the mines but can't figure out how to complete the quest. You first travel to the Red Dwarf Mines when instructed by the Dwarf King to rescue dwarfs in the mines. Later in the game you can return to the mines and sabotage them on a quest that earns you 7500gp and promotes your archers to battle mages.

Instructions

  Go to Avlee and travel to the northern side of the town to find Steagal Snick. Talk to him to receive the quest of sabotaging the Red Dwarf Mines. Snick will give you a worn belt to use.

  Travel to the Red Dwarf Mines. You will enter the mines from the south and will need to take the path third from the right.

  Continue through the mines. Take a left when you approach the fork in the road and continue on the central path until you reach the control room.

  Click on the lift engine towards the left side of the room using the worn belt to sabotage the Red Dwarf Mines.

  Return to Steagal Snick in Avlee to get your reward.
