How to Use Mod Manager for Diablo 2

Blizzard Entertainment's "Diablo 2" is a hugely successful sequel to "Diablo," a role-playing game set in the land of Sanctuary where players must defeat the risen scourge of Hell. The game includes many items, quests, skills and other features for players to enjoy, but additional features can be added through the use of a game modification, or mod. To make the selection and application of modifications easier, players can make use of the "Diablo 2" Mod Manager application.

Instructions

  Open the Mod Manager installation file. Click "next" to progress through the installation, selecting the "Diablo II" directory when prompted.

  Click "install," then click "finish" once the installation is complete.

  Navigate to and double-click the mod plug-in you want to add to Mod Manager. Click the button next to the directory to browse, then select the "MODS" folder in your "Diablo II" directory.

  Click "OK" and "Extract" to place the mod files in the appropriate directory.

  Open Mod Manager, then click the desired mod from the list in the center of the window. Click "Start Plugin," then "Start D2" to load the game.
