When your Sim has toddlers, children and teens to care for, accomplishing major objectives like teaching a toddler to walk and getting a teen to graduate from high school can give the young Sim a head start on building up the Sim's lifetime aspiration score.

Fulfill your Sim's wants on a regular basis to maximize the amount of points she has to spend on lifetime aspiration benefits. Even the smallest wants, like making spaghetti for dinner or talking on the phone to a relative, can keep your Sim's daily aspiration meter full, thus working toward achieving points. Lifetime aspiration score points are awarded every hour based on the level of the daily aspiration meter, so it's best to keep it as high as possible all the time.

Make sure your Sim experiences major life events, because these give your Sim big lifetime aspiration score boosts. Graduating from college, falling in love, getting married and having or adopting a baby give 1,200 lifetime aspiration score points for each occurrence.

Take advantage of the tiered system of the lifetime aspiration benefits when you are spending your points. You can spend points in four categories: needs, career, your current aspiration and a secondary aspiration.
