How Do I Get Mount Training in World of Warcraft?

Once you reach level 20 in "World of Warcraft," you have the opportunity to purchase and ride a mount. Your first mount is slow, but as your level increases, you'll gain access to faster and more exotic mounts. Before you can mount up, you must first learn the necessary riding skill. The type of training you'll need depends on the type of mount you wish to use.

Instructions

    • 1

Visit a riding trainer. Riding trainers are located primarily in capital cities, with the exception of Shattrath in the Outland. The riding trainers in Stormwind and Orgrimmar offer every available riding skill available, including the ability to fly. Other trainers only offer standard mount training.

Look at the required level and gold for each level of training. For example, you can only learn journeyman training if you are level 40 and have 50 gold, while expert riding requires level 60 and 250 gold.

    • 3

Click the desired level of training and click "Train." If you meet the required level and have the required gold, you will see "You have learned a new ability [XX]," where "XX" is the level of training you learned.
