How to Be a PlantSim in Sims 2

In every new "The Sims 2" expansion pack, a new disease is introduced that ties into the theme of the expansion. With "The Sims 2: Seasons," the theme is outdoors and gardening, and your Sim is able to turn into a PlantSim. There are numerous advantages to being a PlantSim. Your Sim now only has three mood bars: sunlight, water and love. Your PlantSim no longer tires, needs to eat or needs to use the bathroom. Your PlantSim can also spread spores of happiness and make clones of himself. You can turn your Sim into a PlantSim at any time.

     Click any patch of soil outside of your Sim's house. Select "Plant Many..." followed by a crop. The type of crop does not matter. Plant at least 10 to 20 crops.

     Ignore your crops for three or four in-game days. Bugs should begin to appear on your crops.

     Click on an infested crop and select "Spray" to spray the crops with pesticide.

   • 4

     Continue to spray each crop with pesticide until your Sim becomes enveloped in a green mist, turning your Sim into a PlantSim.
