How to Generate an Error Log on Sims 2

"The Sims 2" is the second game in the Sims series of video games and was first released in 2004. The game has sold more than 14 million copies worldwide. Graphics or character errors will sometimes interrupt the game. By generating an error log, users can get to the root of the problem and discover what steps to take to fix it.

     Load your "The Sims 2" game as normal.

     Hold down "Ctrl" + "Shift" + "C" on your keyboard, then type the phrase phrase "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true".

   • 3

     Wait until an error occurs on your game. After the error pop-up appears, an error log will be generated in the "The Sims 2\Logs\" folder on your hard drive as a text file.
