How to Bring Your Park Rating Up in Roller Coaster Tycoon

Look for the guests that show icons indicating that they are unhappy or even angry. Move your cursor over top of the figures and click and drag the figure to the water. Release the figure into the water and it "drowns," which removes the character's rating from the game.

Build bathroom stalls and place the stalls all around the park. Some guests in the game become angry when they cannot find a restroom. The more bathroom stalls you have set up around your park, the fewer angry guests you will encounter.

Decorate your park with path lamps and trash cans. The trash cans keep guests from tossing litter inside the park, which brings your rating up. Guests that encounter trash drag your rating down. Path lamps give the park a more decorative look and increase the overall value.

Delete a segment of the track from a ride with a lower rating. Immediately replace that track with a piece that exactly matches the original. Even though the ride remains the same, the guests view the ride as changed and increase their rating.

Visit the Research area of the game and research new roller coasters. When the game finishes researching a steel coaster, add it to your park. Add the power-launched roller coasters, including the Shuttle Loop. These rides are more popular with guests and will quickly increase your park rating.
