How to Use Akatosh Dragon Mount for Oblivion

"Oblivion" is the fourth game in the "Elder Scrolls" series, and like its predecessor "Morrowind," it features high compatibility with mods. "Akatosh Mount" is one of the game's mods, and it grants players the ability to summon and ride a drake, a creature resembling a small dragon. In addition to riding the drake, it will fight alongside the player. The player can even fly the drake, getting a one-of-a-kind aerial experience of the "Oblivion" fantasy world.

Instructions

  Download "Akatosh Mount." It comes compressed in a .7z file.

  Unzip the mod using "7-Zip." If you don't already have "7-Zip," you can download and install it for free. Once it's installed, simply double-click the mod to unzip it.

  Open "My Computer" and navigate to your "Oblivion" directory. By default, the game installs to "\Program Files\Bethesda Software\Oblivion."

  Drag and drop the "Data" folder from your mod into your "Oblivion" directory. If it asks if you want to overwrite files, click "Yes to All."

  Start "Oblivion." Click "Data Files." Check the box next to "Akatosh Mount By Saidan Storm.esp."

  Load a saved game or start a new game.

  Cast the spell "Mount Selection." Choose which of the drakes you want to ride. It will appear next to you. Click on it interact with it, including riding it and issuing commands such as "Stay Here" or "Follow me."
