Majesty: Gold Edition Hotkey Cheats

"Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim (Gold Edition)" is a city-builder PC game in which you are the sovereign of the land and you must develop your kingdom through the use of special fighters and workers obtained by building certain structures. In order to enhance your gameplay experience, the developers have included hotkeys, which allow you to perform certain tasks with a single press of a button on your keyboard, and game cheats, which unlock secret abilities that are not easily obtainable through normal gameplay. It is very rare that a video game will allow you to create hotkeys that enter cheat codes for you, and "Majesty" is not one of them. However, it is still useful to know each.
  1. How to Enter Cheat Codes

    • To type in a cheat code, press the "Enter" key, type in the cheat, and press "Enter" again. If you type in a noncheat or misspell the cheat code you were trying for, nothing will happen.

    Effects Cheats

    • Enter in the following codes for the effects listed. Type "fill this bag" to give yourself 10,000 gold. They "give me power" for all magic spells. Type "victory is mine" for an automatic win on your current level. Typing "build anything" will enable you to buy any structure in the game. Type "grow up" to give any character you have selected five level-ups. Use "restoration" to heal all characters and structures and "revelation" to fill all dark and unexplored areas of your map completely. Typing "cheezy towers" will allow you to cast spells without towers and "highlighted" will make a hero you have selected more powerful. Typing "I'm a loser baby" will cause you to lose your current level automatically and "Now you die" will automatically kill any target you have selected. Type "Planet fargo" to make your adviser sing.

    Spawn Cheats

    • Three cheat codes will cause various monsters to spawn when you enter them. "Goblin rush" will spawn goblins, "night of the living dead" will spawn undead creatures, and "prepare to die will spawn rock golems and dragons.

    Dedicated Hotkeys

    • To use a hotkey, press the key on your keyboard as indicated. This will cut out the need to make multiple mouse clicks for whatever action you want to make. Pressing the spacebar will place or remove an attack flag on whatever target you have selected. Pressing "F1" sets your active building as your Palace. Pressing "F9" toggles unit names between displaying and not displaying. "F10" toggles hit point bars between displaying and not displaying, "F11" toggles the Main Map between zoomed in and zoomed out, and "F12" toggles the Mini Map between displaying terrain texture and not displaying terrain texture. Pressing "Esc" pulls up the Options Menu.

    Customizable Hotkeys

    • You can assign some of the keys on the keyboard to a particular task. If you select a spell from the Spell Bar then hold the "Ctrl" key and press one of the number keys ("0" through "9"), you can hotkey a spell to any one of the number keys. Assign "F2" through "F8" to pull up a particular building by selecting a building and then holding down the "Ctrl" key and the "F" key you wish to assign it to. Holding "Shift" and pressing an assigned "F2" to "F8" hotkey will select the designated building and center your view on it in the Main Map. Holding "Alt" and pressing an assigned "F2" to "F8" hotkey will select the designated building and track it in the Tracking Window.

    Control Window Hotkeys

    • Certain other keys can serve as hotkeys for a particular function that you would usually click on in the Control Window. On a button in the Controls, if a letter on the button is highlighted, it means that letter key on the keyboard is the hotkey for that action. You can check these hotkeys in-game, but the game's manual provides a convenient appendix of each available hotkey.
