How to Get Past Time Tangled Island on Poptropica

"Poptropica" is a massively multiplayer online game and virtual world aimed at children and younger teens. Released in 2007, this PC game offers players the chance to explore a variety of Islands, each with a main quest. Time Tangled Island is one of these islands. In the quest, Professor Peter P. Pendulum has altered history for the worse with his future machine, leaving civilization on the verge of collapse. It's your job to repair the fractured periods of time. The final chapter that stands between you and completing Time Tangled Island is set in the future.

Instructions

  Head to Edison's 1877 Workshop after you listen to the phonograph on the Treasury roof. Walk left and enter through the workshop door.

  Go as far left as possible, jump onto the table, then onto the light bulbs and finally the platform. Walk along the platform until you find Thomas Edison, who is the man in the red vest.

  Choose the speaking option ""I have your phonograph!" and the item will automatically be given to Edison. This is the final time period you had to repair.

  Open the Time Device and choose "Lab" to return to the present.

  Push the big plug together in Pendelum's Lab to start the Future machine. Jump onto the plug and then the blue light to go to the future.

  Walk as far right as possible and use the blue tube to shoot upwards. Use the same blue tube to stop at the monorail.

  Enter the monorail when it turns up and wait for it to stop. Climb up to the monorail's roof and you will automatically fire you into the air.

  Walk left to get to the gray hovering platform if you landed on the platform that belongs to the blue building. Alliteratively you could land on the grass; if so then get on the hovering platform right beside you.

  Wait for the platform to stop, at which point you exit. Leap onto the platform to your left and keep heading in that direction until you see a blue tube. Go inside to enter your sky home.

  Walk to the right in your home and jump over the gap.

  Keep moving in the same direction until you encounter a person. This character is actually an older version of your own, complete with glasses and white hair. Your older self will present you with 100 credits for the Poptropica Store, the Time Tangled medallion and the quest reward.
