Grinding honor
Participate in Battlegrounds. Alterac Valley is a good place to gain honor because of the large number of players in the match, the games can also last longer than other battlegrounds, making it a good place to grind honor by killing players. There are also "Battleground Weekends" where a specific battleground has increased honor rewards.
Travel to an area where World PvP is enabled, this includes Wintergrasp in Northrend; Silithus and Eastern Plaguelands in Azeroth; and Hellfire Penisula, Zangarmarsh, Terrokar Forest and Nagrand in Outland. Kill players and participate in the World PvP objectives. In Silithus, for example, you will gain additional honor by collecting and capturing Silithyst. In Eastern Plaguelands, capturing and holding towers awards additional honor points. A captured tower is also likely to draw additional players to the area. You can not gain honor from players who are more than eight levels below your level.
Know when to move on. The most important part of grinding honor is to know when to move on to another Battleground or World Objective. If you are continuously dying without killing anyone or if your faction seems to always lose a certain battleground, you should switch to a new objective or battleground. You will gain faster honor by winning rather than losing.
