How to Take a Screenshot in DOTA

"Defense of the Ancients" ("DOTA") is a highly competitive "Warcraft 3" mod in which players battle against each other in a real-time strategy setting. Due to the high level of intensity that is often experienced when playing "DOTA," players tend to record hard-fought victories through the use of screen shots. Screen shots capture a single image from inside the game, which can then be shared with others at a later time. You can record the memory of your greatest wins by snapping a screen shot during a match.

     Launch "Defense of the Ancients" and start a play session.

     Progress through the play session until you reach a point that you want to record by taking a screen shot.

     Press the "Prt Scr" button on your keyboard. This will take and save a screenshot.

   • 4

     Close "Defense of the Ancients" and open the "Warcraft 3" directory. You will find the screen shot you took in the "Screenshots" folder.
