How to Make a Multi-Game in GMOD

In GMod, or Garry's Mod, you can create multiplayer games that your friends can then join. GMod is a video game that allows players to use models and maps from video games from Valve Corporation, such as "Team Fortress 2," "Counter-Strike" or "Half-Life." There is no real goal in GMod, as opposed to traditional video games. Instead, players can place and modify props and characters to create scenes. You can create a multiplayer game in GMod by using the game's dedicated multiplayer menu.

     Launch GMod by double-clicking on "Garry's Mod" in your Steam library. Steam is the application from Valve that you used to purchase and install GMod.

     Click on "Create multiplayer" in GMod's main menu.

     Select the game that contains the map you want to use from the drop-down menu at the top of the window. Then click on the map you want to play on.

     Click on the "Create game" button. Your friends will now be able to see your game in the server browser window inside GMod.
