How to Tame the Beast in UBRS

"The Beast" in "World of Warcraft" is a large Core Hound boss character located in the "Upper Blackrock Spire" section of "Blackrock Mountain." If you are a level 60 or higher hunter and you want a new pet, it is possible to tame The Beast. Taming The Beast will turn him into your hunter's pet companion, faithfully following your hunter on future quests and adventures. Several precautions should followed to help ensure a smooth taming process.

Instructions

- 1
  Stable your current pet with one of the stable masters located in any major city.

  Recruit a healing-based character, such as a druid or priest, to accompany you on the journey to tame The Beast.

  Travel to The Beast's lair in the furnace section of Upper Blackrock Spire. The Beast will be located in a cave located directly behind the furnace.

  Enable "Aspect of the Dragonhawk" on your hunter.

  Attack The Beast using "Scorpid Sting." This will reduce the chance that you will be hit by The Beast.

  Cast "Tame Beast" once The Beast is within 30 yards of your character.

  Hold still until you have finished casting "Tame Beast." If your spell casting is interrupted by The Beast hitting you, cast "Feign Death" then try again.

  Repeat the taming steps until you have tamed The Beast.
