How to Play Punk-O-Matic 2

"Punk-o-matic 2" is a Flash game that allows players to create and play music on their computer. Players choose from multiple programmed sounds and combine each selection for an instrument in their own compositions. Players can perform for crowds in different locations in the game. New areas and items will be unlocked as players practice and continue to create new music. Even the band members in the game can be customized to the user's choosing.

Instructions

  Enter your band name into the designated slot. Click on "Accept."

  Select "Story Mode" or "Free Mode." Select the instrument you want to use.

  Click on selections that appear like "Mild," "Fast" or "Bridge." Click and hold on each numbered selection to preview it.

  Click once on a number to place it on the music track. Click on a fret to choose the notes and style you want to use.

  Select each note, style or effect to place it on the music track. Choose notes for each of the instruments.

  Press "Play" to hear all of the instrument tracks together. Click "Practice" to prepare for an upcoming gig.

  Click "Setup Keys" to assign buttons to different actions. Click "Accept."

  Follow along with the song and press the corresponding buttons when prompted on the screen. Practice to gain points.

  Click on the character to customize appearance. Select the map to visit areas and play in those locations.
