If you want your Sims in "The Sims 3" to make nectar (a wine-like drink), then you need a nectar maker. Purchase the nectar maker in France while the Sim is on vacation. The nectar maker, like any item purchased on a community lot, goes into the personal inventory of the Sim who bought it. It doesn't matter which Sim in your property purchases the nectar maker; anyone on the property can learn the skills to use the item.

     Use the telephone to set up a vacation plan to France.

     Go to the Nectary when you arrive in France.

   • 3

     Purchase the nectar maker at the Nectary.

   • 4

     Check the personal inventory tab to find the nectar maker.

   • 5

     Open your personal inventory once you arrive on the home lot or the lot where you want to keep the nectar maker.

   • 6

     Click on the nectar maker, and place it on the lot.

   • 7

     Return to regular play mode.
