How to Increase Your World of Warcraft Performance

When playing "World of Warcraft," one of the last things you want to experience is slow frame-rate and poor processing performance. A slow frame-rate can prove deadly in the player vs. player element of the game and create a hassle when traveling through highly populated player areas. You can improve the performance of "World of Warcraft" by modifying the video settings. This will help you to receive a higher frame-rate while playing the game.

Instructions

    • 1

Launch "World of Warcraft," then sign into your Battle.net account.

    • 2

Choose a character from the character selection screen.

    • 3

Press the "Escape" button on the keyboard, then click the "Video" menu button.

    • 4

Click the "V-Sync" box, located in the "Resolution" tab, to uncheck it.

    • 5

Click the "Effects" tab, then move the "Video Quality" slider all the way to "Low" setting on the left side of the slider.

    • 6

Click "Apply" to save the changes made. This will increase your in-game frames per second.
