How to Install Games on Viewty

The LG Viewty is a 2007 LG touch screen phone that is now discontinued, though it remains usable, and you can still install games on the device. The Viewty connects with a USB cable and uses Transflash/Micro-SD cards, which are external storage devices, for external memory. The USB cable moves games from a computer to the phone and the external storage device stores games. Many games are available for the LG Viewty over the Internet.

Computer with Internet connection
LG Viewty phone
USB cable

Instructions

  Search for games online using your computer with file names that end in the file extension .jar. Download a .jar game.

  Set the USB mode on your LG Viewty phone to Mass Storage, via Menu, Settings, Phone Settings, Connectivity, USB Connection Mode and Mass Storage.

  Connect the phone with the computer with a USB cable. Connect a Transflash/Micro-SD card to the phone, as well.

  Drag and drop the game into the phone's drive. Accept the file transfer and the game will download and install automatically.
