How to Disable The Sims 3 Intro

"The Sims 3" is a computer game that allows players to create a character and control every aspect of that character's life. In the intro you can see the variety of appearances, housing, careers and family options available to you. However, the intro will play every time you load the game. To prevent this, you will need to download and install a mod to disable the intro, which will save you from having to see the same cinematic theme every time you play.

     Download the no intro mod for "The Sims 3" from a community websites such as Modthesims, Setupswarm or esnips.

     Double click on the download to extract the two files inside.

     Open "The Sims 3" installation directory on your computer. Locate the "Packages" folder in the directory and place the "nointro.package" from the download into it.

     Place the "Resource.cfg" file from the download into "The Sims 3" main folder.

     Close the file and load "The Sims 3".
