"Hollywood Holocaust" is the first of four campaigns in "Duke Nukem 3D," the classic first-person shooter that first showed many of the features now common in the genre. In the over-arching story of the franchise, Duke Nukem is returning from his defeat of the alien invaders the Rigelatins to find another race of aliens, referred to as the "alien bastards," conquering the earth starting with Los Angeles. In "Hollywood Holocaust," Duke rages through LA exterminating the aliens. In the second level of the campaign, he can visit a grocery story and liberate it.

Exit the elevator that begins the level. Kill the shotgun-wielding pigcop right outside of it.

Go through the door immediately to your left. The door rotates, so rather than pressing a switch or pressing the "Use" key on your keyboard, you just walk into it and it will let Duke in.

Go to your left, fighting the assault troopers and pigcops who bar your way. The grocery store is to your left.
