Creature Isle Cheats

"Black &White: Creature Isle" is the 2002 expansion pack for the 2001 PC game "Black &White," which allows you to play as a god and control a selection of villages. The overall aim of this expansion is to find a mate for the creature under your control. "Black &White: Creature Isle" offers a selection of helpful cheats and tricks.
  1. Infinite Food

    • Khazar will demonstrate how to cast grain during the second level. You are supposed to move your on-screen hand in a circle when he is finished. Move it in the shape of the letter "R" instead, and keep repeating this motion. More and more food will appear, and you can do this as much as you like.

    Bowling Cheat

    • Even a friendly game of bowling can benefit from some special tactics. When it is Madino the Cow's turn in the bowling mini-game, walk over to the foggy pit, smash the rock and take a piece back to the lane. As soon as the cow starts to throw the ball, drop the rock in front of him so the ball is blocked and can't reach the pins. Make sure to move it when it is your turn and you'll easily win the game.

    Bear Rescue Trick

    • You can also complete the Bear Rescue quest quickly and easily. Control the Japanese village and place your creature next to the pack of dogs. Use the teleport miracle next to the windmill and the creature. Send your creature through the teleport near it and it will emerge next to the windmill. Smash the windmill to free the bear that was tied to it.

    Change Game Speed

    • You can change the speed of your game with a simple trick. Hold down the "Alt" key and press "1" to make everything move in slow motion. Press "2" as you hold "Alt" and the game will play much faster than it normally would.

    Change Your Creature

    • Open the "Lionhead Studios Ltd" folder from wherever you stored it when you installed the game; it's most likely in your "C:" drive. Open the "Black &White" folder, then the "Data" folder, followed by the "CTR" file. Save the "CTR" file under a different name to create a backup copy of the file, so you can always return to your original settings. Then, open the "CTR" file and change the name of the creature to the one you want to be in the game, preceded by a "B" and followed by ".CBN." For example, if you wanted to be an ape, type in "Bape.CBN."
