How to Get Thief: The Dark Project to Run on Windows XP

"Thief: The Dark Project" is a stealth action game released by Eidos for the home computer. Players take on the role of "Garret," a mysterious thief with connections to a secret brotherhood. "Thief" is one of the most critically acclaimed computer games released during the 90s. Unfortunately, the game is notorious for having compatibility issues with versions of the Windows operating system that came after its release. Thankfully, there are workarounds to allow "Thief" to properly install on any revision of Windows.
