How to Get Out of COD 4 Single Player Maps

"Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" is the fourth installment in the "Call of Duty" first-person shooter franchise. This installment is a departure for the series, taking place in modern times rather than in the World War 2 era. The game takes a more realistic approach to shooters, having characters carry fewer weapons than is typical in FPS's, as well as having your character take less damage before dying. During game play, eventually you will want to exit the single-player map you're playing and end the game.

     Press the "Esc" key on your keyboard.

     Press the "Main Menu" button on the menu screen.

     Press "OK" on the pop-up window that appears. This will allow you to exit the single-player map and returns you to the main screen.
